An Update

I've abandoned this space for a while now and I'm not really happy about that. Trust me, I would love to update you more about my life as much as I possibly can but I've been quite busy with school and a lot of things lately. Oh, the daily struggle of a senior student. Also, I have some other stuff to deal which I really enjoy like restoring some old denims that I started as just an experiment with my friend. Fortunately, we had a good feedback from people so we are trying to push through with it and make more of them. (check out: styleavenueMNL on facebook and instagram) I've been writing a couple of short liners as well on my handy dandy notebook which I promise to post here soon.

These past few months have been a blast for me. I've never been this out and game for everything. 2013's opening was really good and I hope it continues to be like that. I am glad that I get to go out with my friends more, have fun, be crazy and all that. I am seeing more of the world now and though I feel lost and not really sure of what the future would be like for me at least I get to enjoy moments of the present. I get to live life and really I want to live more. :) I don't want to be held back anymore by things I think are hindrances I am getting over this state and be free.

So anyways I will post a photo of something I did just recently cause I was free for a weekend and suddenly an idea came to me. Again, the wall in our bedroom is the victim for this idea. :)

me posing with it. I'd like to call it my 2nd wall project. :)

and here's a photo with the first one I did. :)

I realized that when I have an idea I might as well go for it and do it immediately and not let it pass. :)

3 BULLETS

Something I wrote. I was actually on a pedicab when the idea came out of blue and I just had to pull a pen and my notebook out. Also, I am meeting up with my friend (Arielle) later to make a short plot for this and maybe shoot something out of it. I am praying that it pushes through before our sem-break ends. :)

Wall-Art

To explain my random art trips in life...(feeling artist/artistic kasi ako minsan)
I saw this photo in instagram and got inspired by it while I was staring at the bare wall in our room (Yeah, I sleep with my sister). Since it's the sem-break and I have nothing much to do but to see the world and create something out of myself (not literally). I decided to put my scissors, tapes, colored boards out, print some photographs and vandalize a wall. Our room may not have the best interior and those stylish furniture but I love that it is where I feel safe, free, at ease with myself and inspired. Territorial creature over here! haha! :)

Saved a part of my allowance to have these photographs printed out and I am planning to have more of them done but I need cash first. Kinikilig talaga ako pagnakakakita ako ng pictures. :">

while I was doing the letters for the "Live.Laugh.Love" thing...

I used colored corrugated boards, my left-hand, a pencil then had it cut-out. this is the hardest part--- not messing up.

And for the result...*drum roll plss...
tenenenenene...

It is pretty much made out of double-sided tape, idea, inspiration, confidence and time to do it. :)

More photos and random stuff to stick on that wall. :) It was worth it cause I get to stare not on the blank wall anymore but on what I have created. :D Thanks to that instagram photo that gave me the idea, not sorry for copying it. Like what my art.app prof taught us "In the post-modernist art everything is pastiche nothing is really original". Everything is out there all we have to do is turn it into our own, stamp it with our personal imprint.
